They explored what life was like during wartime, including a fascinating talk from a lady who was evacuated from London to Devon as a child during the war. The class got to experience the atmosphere of the air raid shelters and imagine what it would have been like to seek safety underground during those uncertain times. View PostOur drama club students have made us proud with their outstanding performances 'Madagascar Jr.' last week. The hall was filled with excitement and applause as the young actors brought the beloved characters to life. Months of hard work and dedication culminated in a spectacular show that captivated audiences of all ages. The vibrant costumes, energetic dance routines, and catchy songs created an atmosphere of pure joy and entertainment. We extend a huge thank you to our dedicated staff, Matthew Lewis and Niamh Reilly, who put the show together and did an amazing job of inspiring and coaching our drama club students to shine. Matthew Lewis shared his pride in the students' achievements: "Watching our students perform with such passion and skill was truly heartwarming. Their commitment to this production has been remarkable, and I couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments." The community's support was evident, with each performance drawing a full house. Attendees were treated to an evening of laughter, adventure, and heartfelt moments, making 'Madagascar Jr.' a resounding success. Congratulations to the cast and backstage crew for their outstanding performances and to everyone who contributed to making this production a memorable event.
